After the first snow of the season I try and settle myself in mentally for a long cold winter. This time around I’ll have lots to keep me occupied between work and wedding planning. It’ll be good to have the quiet winter nights to hunker down and get stuff done. It’ll also be good to enjoy the simple things. Like nature and scifi! Today Greg and I played in the snow and got hot rummy drinks, then I treated D to a movie – Avatar is awesome and needs a second viewing – and she treated me to dinner! Nice when that happens, huh!
